(HALIFAX, N.S. | San Diego, California) Atlantic University Sport is excited to announce the new home of webcasting platform AUStv on YAREtv powered by Visaic Inc, a digital content distribution company.

Fans can continue to visit the conference streaming site at www.AUStv.ca to access the brand new, state-of-the-art, streaming platform.

“We’re thrilled to announce this new partnership and share with our fans and stakeholders the new home of AUStv,” said AUS executive director Phil Currie. “Visaic is a leader in the streaming and digital content distribution industry. We are very excited for fans to experience the new platform and to reach more people than ever before.”

With the announcement of the new three-year partnership, AUS becomes the third U SPORTS conference to choose the YAREtv platform, following in the footsteps of Canada West and Ontario University Athletics (OUA).

In addition to serving over 90% of the top tier university market in Canada, Visaic also powers a wide range of amateur sports teams, associations, major broadcasters, professional leagues, and marquee entertainment properties. Other properties powered by Visaic include the CFL International Service the Rogers Grand Slam of Curling International Service, and AFI.tv. The company also streams UFC, AEW and music concerts to theatres across the USA and Canada.

AUS is set to return to competition following a hiatus in 2020-21 caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021-22 AUS regular season will get underway Friday, Sept. 10. All regular season, playoff and championship games will be webcast live on AUStv.
